Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Ibu Terhadap Pemberian Asi Eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Paal V Kota Jambi Tahun 2022

Background: exclusive breastfeeding is giving breast milk only including colostrum without providing additional food and drink to the baby from birth to
about 6 months of age except drugs and vitamins. The success of exclusive breastfeeding is determined by the mother's knowledge of breast milk. Mother's knowledge about breast milk has a very important role because it can foster awareness to give breast milk to her baby. In addition to knowledge of factors that affect exclusive breastfeeding is the attitude of the mother, while the factors that
can affect attitudes in breastfeeding include personal experience, the influence of people who are considered important or knowledge gained. The purpose of this
study was to identify the relationship of knowledge and attitudes of mothers towards exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of Puskesmas paal V kota jambi in 2022.
Method: Research Design using cross sectionaldesign. Samples were selected using proportional random sampling technique and taken using simple random sampling obtained a number of 76 people.
Hasil : Berdasarkan uji statistic pengetahuan menggunakan uji chi square diperoleh p value = 0,007(<0,05). Thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship of knowledge of respondents to exclusive breastfeeding in the Working Area of Health Centers PaaL V Jambi city. Berdasarkan uji statistic sikap menggunakan Chi-Square diperoleh p value = 0,000 (< 0,05). Thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship attitude of respondents to exclusive breastfeeding in the Working Area of the Health Center PaaL V Jambi.
Conclusion: there are 39 respondents (51.3%) with high knowledge, and 37 respondents (48.7%) with low knowledge, then respondents who have a good attitude as many as 46 respondents (60.5%). Who gave exclusive breastfeeding as
many as 49 respondents (64.5%)
